Adobe has just introduced a bunch of editing products on ChatGPT and the best part is that they are available for free.

I decided to test Photoshop on OpenAI’s chatbot and see if it really is better than opening my app just to remove the background from a product image and create a header image at work.

To enable these features in ChatGPT, open Settings, then Apps & Connectors and enable each Adobe product.

1. Remove the Photoshop background

I’ve been using Photoshop for years and I still find half the tools confusing. So if I can write “white face” and get a perfect fit, I feel like I’m cheating. ChatGPT has access to the right Photoshop tools so your edits look great and aren’t ruined by AI.

You can correct the exposure, refine details, add effects or clean up cluttered backgrounds. If you want more control, sliders appear so you can make adjustments. This is the type of quick edit that usually takes five minutes and completes in five seconds.

But the best part is that you can remove the background from photos in a fraction of a second without the need for any additional software. Just type “Remove Adobe Photoshop Background”, upload an image and click “Go”. As easy as pie.

2. Express for fast graphics

I create quick images for articles all the time, and Adobe’s Express ChatGPT integration surprised me the most. You can ask ChatGPT to create a theme, embed Adobe Express templates and customize everything on the fly: fonts, colors, images, animations, etc.

It’s perfect if you want something special but don’t have time to worry about another app. Everything happens while you chat, making the workflow eerily natural.

I followed Adobe’s lead and created a Christmas party invitation, and something that would have taken me a good hour can now be done in a fraction of a second – impressive.

3. Acrobat PDF editing

This might be less glamorous, but it’s definitely the feature I’ll be using the most. There are now also Acrobat tools built into ChatGPT, allowing you to correct PDF text, edit images, merge documents, extract data, compress large files and even redact sensitive information.

Turn all those small, boring tasks into quick voice or text commands. I decided to try it out by uploading a PDF draft of an article I had written and Acrobat allowed me to edit it directly from the PDF, something I always wanted to do in ChatGPT.

This ChatGPT add-on might be less flashy than the Photoshop integration, but I think a lot of people will fall in love with this new feature.
