Lenovo showcased its latest consumer laptops at CES 2024, with a clear emphasis on AI integration. Among the unveiled models in Las Vegas were updated versions of the Yoga Pro 9i and Yoga 9i 2-in-1, continuing their durability with a military-spec rating (MIL-STD-810H).

The 2024 Yoga Pro 9i and Yoga 9i 2-in-1 received a performance boost, now equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra “Meteor Lake” processors. The Pro 9i boasts Intel Core Ultra 5 / 7/ 9 H Series, while the Yoga 9i 2-in-1 features Intel Evo Edition powered by Core Ultra 7 processor.

In line with the prevailing trend at CES, Lenovo highlights the AI capabilities of its new products. Both the Yoga Pro 9i and 9i 2-in-1 are equipped with a dedicated Lenovo AI Core Chip, bringing onboard artificial intelligence to the forefront. Notably, they also feature a dedicated Windows Copilot button on their keyboards, courtesy of Microsoft.

Lenovo’s new machines come bundled with the Lenovo Yoga Creator Zone, an AI-driven image creation suite. No need for new hardware; Lenovo’s software is integrated, potentially sparing users from web searches for Midjourney or DALLE-3. If your model sports discrete graphics, it can train personal AI models to mimic your style and generate corresponding images.

The 2024 Yoga Pro 9i boasts a 16-inch, 3.2K (3200 x 2000) display with an IPS or mini LED panel. It packs up to a GeForce 4070 Laptop GPU, 64GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. Weighing 4.82 lbs, it features a 5MP webcam with AI-powered auto-framing, and six speakers (including “advanced bass” support), and starts at $1,700, slated for an April launch.

The refreshed Yoga 9i 2-in-1 flaunts a 14-inch screen with PureSight OLED 2.8K or 4K OLED tech. Boasting a 360-degree rotating soundbar housing four Bowers & Wilkins speakers, it’s complemented by a magnetically attached Slim pen. Priced from $1,450, this versatile device hits the shelves in April.

Lenovo’s quirky dual-screen folding laptop, the Book 9i, returns with top-tier configurations featuring Intel’s latest Core Ultra chips. Offering a PureSight OLED 2.8K screen and a rotating B&W soundbar, it’s set to debut in April, starting at $2,000.

In the more budget-friendly category, the Lenovo IdeaPad 5i 2-in-1 comes in 16-inch and 14-inch variants, sporting up to a 2K OLED screen in the larger model. Priced at $760 and $810 respectively, both versions will be available for shipment in April. The screens boast up to 400 nits brightness, covering 100 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut.

Completing the lineup, upgraded versions of the Lenovo Slim 7i ($1,050+) and Pro 7 ($1,350+) support Intel Core Ultra or AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processors. Offering up to an RTX 4050 Laptop GPU and PureSight Pro LCD or OLED 3K displays, these models present a compelling choice for tech enthusiasts.
