Epic Games confirmed the return of the mighty Infinity Blade to Fortnite OG this week.
Players can dive back into Fortnite OG, a nostalgic mode based on the original Battle Royale, when it returns with Chapter 1 Season 7 on December 11.
In a new post on social media, Epic revealed a preview of the upcoming update, which includes map changes including the Polar Peak, Happy Hamlet, and Frosty Flights zones, a new Christmas-themed OG Battle Pass, new gliders, and loot items.
Most exciting for gamers, however, is the announcement that Infinity Blade will return “later this season” after a seven-year absence. It is a mythical weapon that only appears once per game and grants extra movement and health to anyone who uses it.

This weapon is particularly controversial due to its stats (source: WikipediaFortnite), with 200 health points and 200 shield points, for a total of 400 HP. You can also restore 1 effective HP per second and 50 effective HP after each kill.
It also greatly increases the player’s movement speed and deals 75 damage per shot over a large area of impact. Overall, this weapon is extremely powerful and offers a clear advantage when it comes to achieving a Victory Royale.
Epic has yet to clarify whether Infinity Blade will be watered down for the next season. Otherwise, the wearer can wreak havoc again.
