Pixel 10a leak: Same look, same bug, same disappointment?
2 minutes
  • Leaked renders of the Google Pixel 10a show an almost identical design to the Pixel 9a
  • The technical characteristics may also be very similar, but with a slightly improved chip.
  • The starting price would also be unchanged.

At the moment, there are only a few rumors circulating about the Google Pixel 10a, but the biggest leak has just surfaced, with images and alleged specifications now being shared.

Android titles AND @OnLeaks — a tipster known for its reliability — has revealed renders of a smartphone that looks a lot like the Google Pixel 9a, though it appears to be the Pixel 10a. Same elongated camera block, same general shape, same placement of ports and buttons as the previous model.

A not very encouraging result, as the Google Pixel 9a was described as “ugly” during the test. This assessment remains subjective, but it is clear that this design lacks the personality typical of the main models in the Pixel range.

The only possible visual improvement: the bezels, which look thinner on the Pixel 10’s display. But in Published on@OnLeaks states that the actual bezels would be slightly thicker than the pictured bezels, reducing this potential aesthetic gain.

The Google Pixel 10a may also be slightly thicker than its predecessor, with advertised dimensions of 153.9 x 72.9 x 9 mm, and has a slightly smaller 6.2-inch display (compared to the Pixel 9a’s 6.3 inches).

It would also integrate the same Tensor G4 chip as the Pixel 9a, in an “enhanced” version, presumably with a higher clock speed. There are also no new features planned for photography, with a 48 Mpx main sensor, a 13 Mpx ultra-wide angle and a 13 Mpx front module.

A small update

So what would you really change, other than a small performance boost? This leak suggests that the device’s increased thickness could allow it to house a larger battery than the Pixel 9’s 5,100mAh battery. An earlier leak also suggested a perhaps slightly brighter screen, but that’s about it.

The good news is that the price of the Google Pixel 10a should remain the same, with a starting price of $499 for the 128GB version. There is no word yet on whether additional storage capacity will be offered and what pricing will be outside the US. If we follow the Pixel 9a, we can expect a launch price of 549 euros.

According to the leak, the launch is expected in early 2026. However, if the information published so far is confirmed, it may not be worth the wait.
