IKEA’s love for practical home and capital accessories continues with the VÄSTMÄRKE series, a set of three wireless chargers compatible with the Qi2 standard, one of which has a handy hidden secondary function.
This charger has the simple name (via Check the notebook), yours for just $9.99 (we’re still waiting on international availability and pricing). It comes in only one color, bright red, and looks a lot like a donut.
It supports the Qi2.0 standard and can charge at speeds of up to 15W. It also attaches magnetically to work with Apple MagSafe and Google Pixelsnap standards, and the integrated USB cable fits neatly into the charger.
This dual function allows the charger to act as a PopSocket stand for your phone: when magnetically attached to a phone, you can open it slightly, making it easier to hold the device with one hand.
Racks and bowls
We’ve got yours below for $24.99, and thanks to IKEA’s pragmatic naming strategy, you can probably guess what you’re getting: It’s like the first charger, but with a cork table holder.
It supports 15W Qi2.0 charging and magnetic connection, so you can mount your phone horizontally or vertically and even use it as a bedside table for your phone or to watch videos or make video calls without holding the phone.
Finally, there is the wireless charger with integrated light. It retails for $24.99 and like the other products, it also complies with the 15W Qi2.0 wireless charging standard.
When you put the laptop down to charge, you also get soft, warm lighting, plus a small tray where you can keep keys, rings or anything else you need close at hand.
