A new hub for players
The Times Square map will be released in Season 5 and is basically a hub for players to relax. This is a non-combat map for up to 100 players. Players can go out, dance, watch videos, read books and let their imagination run wild.
A new team for Magneto
Gambit arrives and brings a new team, Magneto. This is essentially a reworking of his Team Up with the Scarlet Witch, a move that will no doubt please many players (myself included). Magneto can now fire kinetically charged swords at enemies, making him even more formidable.
Season 5 Roadmap Revealed
NetEase has revealed the full roadmap for Season 5. New costumes are expected for Doctor Strange, Luna Snow, Magik, and Psylocke, with the anniversary celebration on November 28.
When is Rogue coming to Marvel Rivals?
Gambit and Rogue revealed Wonderful rivals. Gambit comes first and Rogue follows on December 12, 2025. Then Season 5.5 starts and we can all play as Rogue.
Ranking game for Marvel Rivals
Place bets are now available for competitive play Wonderful rivals. If you played 10 or more Ranked Matches in Season 4, your estimated starting Rank for Season 5 Ranked Matches will be equal to your final Season 4 Rank minus 3 divisions. This will then be compared to your highest ranking from previous seasons, and some rankings will be deducted. You can read all the details here.
Gambit is the new hero in Marvel Rivals

We now know that Gambit will be the next batch of heroes to be added. Wonderful rivals. He is a strategist who can heal his teammates with his kinetic cards and use anti-heals in certain situations. He has an ability that can also negate certain effects, and we see him counter a Doctor Strange Ultimate ability in the reveal trailer.
When is Marvel Rivals season 5 coming out?
