What’s new in Fortnite?
Epic Games has just released an update for Fortnite The Simpsons that adds Donut Storms. In-game, a pink circle now appears on the map indicating locations where thunderstorms are occurring. Giant monks fall from the sky and crush the players they hit. Additionally, the Springfielder Peely skin is now unlockable. Complete quests to earn the skin and additional cosmetic items.
Fortnite Chapter 6 has finally arrived and continues with Fortnite The Simpsons disrupting the game’s map once again. New weapons can be discovered, a Battle Pass will be released in Springfield colors and updates will highlight the cult series.
After finishing a live event, Fortnite The Simpsons officially debuted on November 1, 2025. Regular updates like this make Fortnite one of the best battle royale games out there. The previous season ended on November 1st, just before the global launch of this new mini-season.

When does the current Fortnite season end?
Fortnite The Simpsons ends on November 29 at 7:30 p.m. (Paris time).
When will the next season of Fortnite take place?
The next season of Fortnite will begin after a hiatus on November 29, 2025. Hopefully this hiatus will only be 2-3 hours (based on the average hiatus length in Chapter 6 so far), but it’s worth noting that things have sometimes been a bit slower in the past (5 hours for the current season).
What can we expect from the next season of Fortnite?
The next season of Fortnite has not yet been announced. As this is the last major update of the year, we assume that this will be the release of Fortnite Chapter 7. If confirmed, we will see a brand new map, a new Battle Pass, an overhaul of key battle features and much more. We’ll have to wait and see what Epic Games has in store for us.

Map changes.
Fortnite has released a new map at the same time as The Simpsons season. It is called Springfield Island and is slightly smaller than the previous one. Up to 80 players can participate in a Battle Royale match, allowing matches to be completed faster than in the previous season. You can see the new map in the image above, which shows key landmarks like Burn’s Manor, Evergreen Terrace and more.
