Epic Games has confirmed that the almighty Infinity Blade is coming back Fortnite AND this week.

In a new post on social media, Epic announced the upcoming update with a taste of what to expect, including map updates with Polar Peak, Happy Hamlet and Frosty Flights, a new Christmas-themed OG Battle Pass, new gliders and loot items.
Most exciting for gamers, however, is the confirmation that Infinity Blade will be released “later in the season”, after seven years. It is a mythical weapon that appears once per game and grants its wielder special movement and health bonuses.

It is a controversial weapon, mainly because of its values (via WikipediaFortnite), which grants 200 health and 200 shields for a total of 400 health, as well as the ability to grant 1 effective health per second and 50 effective health after eliminating an enemy.
It also greatly increases the player’s movement speed and has a large attack area, dealing 75 damage per hit. Overall, this is a pretty powerful weapon that will definitely help you win a Victory Royale.
Epic hasn’t revealed if it has nerfed Infinity Blade for the next season, but if not, players can wreak havoc again.
