Overall, I think this chair is good value for money. It has a solid aluminum base, smooth-running wheels, high-quality mesh padding, good design and good mechanics. This means that the chair can be easily moved without it squeaking or feeling like something is breaking over time.
Hinomi H2 Pro: used
Sometimes chairs in this mid-range price range can be a strange combination of cheap materials and a high price tag, but the Hinomi H2 Pro matches the price quite well. While it’s not the most expensive chair or the most versatile, it provides all-day comfort with ergonomic support, which is ultimately all we’re looking for.
When I tried the chair on the first day, it felt stable for the first few hours, the lumbar support was clearly visible and I felt very supported. After the fourth hour, I realized that this network was keeping me calm, which was great. However, I wish the thigh support was a bit longer for my very long legs (I’m 6ft tall). After the eighth hour I noticed that my head and neck were still supporting me and I hadn’t noticed any creaks or give in the chair.
Now, 60 days later, I still feel the same way. This chair has held up really well and I actually use the folding feature more than I thought I would.
At first I thought it was a bit unconventional and I just used it because I couldn’t, why not, and I wanted to take advantage of the nice functionality, but now, that being said, after having this chair in my rotation for two months and being used by my team, I fold the chair and slide it under my desk while I’m still standing to do my work.
Instead of sliding it behind me on the desk to take up more space or pushing it to the side, I now slide it right under the desk where it’s out of the way. Sure, if you have a smaller desk it might not work, but for medium to large desks it’s a dramatic advantage for a chair like this.
Hinomi H2 Pro: final verdict
The Hinomi H2 Pro is a welcome upgrade to the already excellent Hinomi H1 Pro chair. It is a breathable mesh element that accentuates the lower back, a colorful and ergonomic addition to the folding chair that offers excellent value for money.
It’s not the most luxurious chair and it doesn’t pretend to be. It offers a reasonable experience for the price and also folds up, like a party trick you never thought you’d do.
