Surprisingly, Netflix just found a way to make Thanksgiving and Christmas with friends and family even more stressful if your family members are extremely competitive. Starting today (November 14), five new TV board games are available on the streamer, including Boggle Party, Party Crasher: Fool Your Friends, Lego Party, Pictionary: Game Night and Tetris Time Warp.
Want to try it now? Here’s a quick overview of how to start playing:
- Select the game you want to play and then click the “Play” button.
- Open your phone’s camera and scan the QR code on your TV screen.
- Open the Netflix Controller popup on your device.
- The controller and TV are paired and the game begins.

This is not the platform’s first foray into the world of gaming programs. Many Netflix IP addresses, including virgin river Octopus game AND foreign things, They have their own “story mode” games, but usually focus on individual players or families. However, our new titles mentioned above are exclusively multiplayer games where your phone acts as a controller.
My opinion is divided. I love that Netflix actively brings people together and encourages them to share an activity, especially at a time when we desperately need community.
If, like me, playing traditional board games with your loved ones is bad enough, then I think transferring them to the small screen will be my personal hell. All the yelling, petty fights and years of grudges, reinforced by our established contacts and activities.
However, there is one game that I think might bring me back or even spark a new obsession. But for some reason there isn’t even a release date.
I’m not interested in these new board games for Netflix TV, but The Knives Out 3 Solution could change my life

Look at me with your digital eyes and tell me you never considered yourself a super detective. yes i ate broad church OR Department QI always thought I could solve the case well, or even better. I also looked for popular crime shows on game nights. Murder, he writes. (Yes, I know, I’m dating that reference.)
But for me it is knife The series takes the fun of crime fiction to a new level. Even though I didn’t like the movie, I loved Daniel Craig’s quirky detective Benoit Blanc. Add it there Wake up: dead man (aka Knife 3) is my absolute favorite and I’m incredibly excited about the Netflix themed “Social Deduction Game”.
What do you mean I can outsmart my mom at something she always said she was best at? What do you mean I can get revenge on my dad, who always thinks I’m a traitor when I play against him? This could be the ultimate battle of armchair detectives and I’m ready to win.
Unfortunately, Netflix hasn’t set a release date yet, but it will likely be after December 12th (the movie’s release date). Basically, I have a month to hone my gaming and crime-free skills… and what better way to do that than to try out all the great crime content on Netflix?
I hope to play Blanc in the future, but even though they basically cast me as Kathryn Hahn crystal onionI can live with that.
