phasmophobia was the horror hit of 2020, with streamers around the world preparing to become newly recruited Ghostbusters. There were 24 different ghosts to identify, and it was both a puzzle game and a survival horror game that kept people hooked and completely terrified.
Of course, the hype dies down and a new wave of top horror games like The Brilliant emerges. mouthwash, The fact that I gave it five stars remains. But Kinetic Games just released their best map yet, which got me hooked. phasmophobiaIt’s still a robbery. I can’t imagine leaving for a while either.
Small and scary
Nell’s Diner has the second smallest menu phasmophobiabehind Camp Woodwinds.
Nell’s Diner, as you may have guessed, only has one floor, making it much more difficult to hide from the ghost you’re dealing with. I was relieved that they decided to keep things small, as larger maps like Sunny Meadows can often feel overwhelming, take a while to find the haunted room and slow the game down.
Here we come straight to the point. Nell’s Diner is claustrophobic due to its size, as there are no stairs to climb or multiple lockers to hide in. At the same time, it feels vulnerable as it doesn’t offer many places to seek cover.
In reality there is only four Hiding places are allowed throughout the restaurant, compared to eight or nine in the original residential buildings, such as 13 Willow Street or 42 Edgefield Road. That’s a big drop for a casual level player, and yes, those dungeons get even smaller if you’re brave enough to play Nightmare or Insanity mode.
It’s very easy for the mind to picture you in the great dining room, which is a shame considering that’s where all the fun stuff is, like a jukebox that lets you play music or a clickable bell on the counter that you can ring repeatedly.
Come to think of it, I might just keep dying there because the ghost thinks it’s me. bored. I wouldn’t blame them.

Raise your hand if you’ve ever been distracted while admiring the scenery and seen a ghost creep up behind you. Yes, me too, and it’s in balance. worse at Nell’s Diner.
There is much to see in the main hall, from posters to plaques. Look at all the references to ghosts and phasmophobia A tradition that you can recognize at first. WHERE The mind understands you!

The “Ghost in the Machine” easter egg ties into some previous clues, like horror movie references. Show AND the ringbut this seems much more interactive and you get a nice memory even outside of ID. You know what I mean.
Overall, this is a beautiful card. I highly recommend playing this game with friends so you can see who is the “I’m in freezing!” he shouts. Only to realize they are in a giant freezer. (I certainly didn’t)
It’s also fun to see how all kinds of spirits react to this new environment. It is a very different atmosphere from prisons, camps, high schools and other non-residential facilities. I would like to see more public spaces explored and I’m sure this is possible.
Nell’s Diner really gives me hope for the future of Kinetic Games and phasmophobiabecause they’ve proven that even after years they still have great ideas, and I’m looking forward to seeing what new maps and content they’ll create next.
