I was afraid we had collectively forgotten how to make a good trailer, but… The Devil Wears Prada 2 I just showed everyone how to do it.
Without giving anything away about the upcoming plot, the trailer follows Miranda’s (Meryl Streep) red heels to the Runway office. He then strikes the iconic elevator pose from the original film before being joined by Andy (Anne Hathaway), now immaculately framed.
Circumscribed loins! The trailer for Devil Wears Prada 2 almost confirms the actual appearance at the Met Gala

we already know The Devil Wears Prada 2 will feature a scene at the Met Gala, but the event itself is completely fake. The film recreates a fake version of former Vogue editor Anna Wintour’s famous fashion show, which featured Streep and Stanley Tucci (Nigel) on the red carpet.
We see it briefly in the trailer, but let’s see what else happens. As Miranda walks to the elevator, we see an unknown woman getting ready for what appears to be an elegant formal event that could be fashion’s biggest night.
Of course, this may indicate that you have seen the film yourself. But with the sequel set to premiere on May 1, 2026, three days before next year’s Met Gala, it’s almost a given that we’ll see the unlikely quartet on the royal carpet (hopefully with Streep in the role).
The mystery woman may also make a giant appearance heading to the Met Gala, which has yet to be revealed. A long list of high-profile guest stars have already been confirmed, but do we really think they’ve all been revealed yet?
It would be the biggest meta film campaign in Hollywood history The Devil Wears Prada 2 It is the only cinematic field and wild enough to do so. Needless to say, there are still unspoken surprises in store, and the fact that the trailer reveals next to nothing only adds to the excitement.
All I’m saying is that I think the trailer sets a precedent for us to go all out in our marketing and pull it all out. If you’ll excuse me, I’m going to watch the original for 479,538. Watch it on Disney+. If you want to join me in the review. The Devil Wears Prada and I live in the US, So be sure to check out the offer below.
