Analyzing our listening habits over the past twelve months has become a tradition at spotify Wrapped, and the annual streaming review has become so popular that most other streaming services, including YouTube Music and apple Music, now offer something similar to users.
While we know that Spotify Wrapped is definitely coming in 2025, we don’t know exactly when it will launch. We did some digging and looked at Spotify Wrapped release dates from previous years to see if we can better estimate the release date.
When will Spotify Wrapped 2025 be released?
That’s the big question: when will Spotify Wrapped launch in 2025? You’ll definitely know when it’s going to happen (social media will be full of recaps), but Spotify doesn’t announce Wrapped’s release date in advance, which varies slightly each year.
We can take some cues from previous years. Spotify Wrapped 2024 was released on Wednesday, December 4. Can we see Spotify Wrapped 2025 on Wednesday, December 3, 2025? Or maybe Thursday, December 4? Based on recent history, they seem like the most likely candidates.

Looking ahead: Wrapped 2023 launched on Wednesday 29 November and Wrapped 2022 launched on Wednesday 30 November. Previously we had Wrapped 2021 on Wednesday 1 December and Wrapped 2020 on Tuesday 1 December.
So for the past four years, Spotify Wrapped has always launched on a Wednesday in early December, suggesting that November 26 or December 3 could be the big day this year. This is not based on prior knowledge, but simply on what has happened before.
Another thing we’ve seen before is Spotify teasing on social media, telling us what to expect and waiting for the annual summary that everyone can see on their accounts.
As we have not seen anything similar at the time of writing, the launch of Spotify Wrapped is probably not imminent. There is a website for that Spotify package 2025 You can see it, but currently it only links to the 2024 summary.
When will Spotify stop tracking Wrapped?
Another frequently asked question about Spotify Wrapped is when the listening statistics limit applies. Will your rotations at the end of November count towards your 2025 stats or will they carry over to next year?
The rather annoying answer is that Spotify doesn’t say this explicitly. Anecdotally, it seems that the statistics were collected from January 1 to about mid-November, but no one sat down to do the job properly.
Perhaps the reason Spotify isn’t telling us is that it might be a surprise to release Wrapped more effectively. the only one official comment What we’ve seen here suggests that tracking will continue at least beyond the end of October.

Otherwise, we’re pretty much in the dark: You might want to take a closer look at your 2025 Spotify Wrapped data and see how many are included as of the second half of November (which might be difficult depending on how often you use the service).
Achieving coverage for millions of users is quite a difficult task from a technical point of view, so the tracking of statistics will probably stop a few days or even weeks before the global publication of the summaries.
