Anker’s Budget ANC Headphones Beat Sony with Lossless Sound

Improved Noise Cancellation and Audio: Soundcore Unveils New Space One Headphones

Soundcore, a brand by Anker, has introduced an upgraded version of its Space active noise canceling headphones, the Space One, in the US. Boasting three color choices and enhanced ANC, these new Space One headphones offer an attractive option for commuters. They come at a lower price point, making them a viable alternative to Sony’s WH-1000XM5, which costs three times as much. They might even compete with some of today’s top noise-cancelling headphones.

Anker’s audio division has left a strong impression on us. An earlier model, the Soundcore Life Q30, convinced us enough to make a personal purchase. The brand consistently delivers intriguing products, like the Liberty 4 earbuds that offer a feature even the AirPods Pro lack. Given this track record, these headphones are expected to provide remarkably effective ANC for their cost.

Soundcore Space One: Affordable Price and Specs

Available in Jet Black, Latte Cream, or Sky Blue, the Space One headphones are priced at $99 in the US, £89 in the UK, and €99 in Europe. Shipping begins on August 28 in the US and August 31 in other markets.

What do you get for your money? Soundcore offers up to 40 hours of ANC-enabled listening time, an impressive feature. With ANC off, you’ll enjoy 55 hours of playback, and just five minutes of charging adds four hours of listening time. The 40mm dynamic drivers promise enhanced sound quality, customizable to your hearing through the accompanying app’s HearID function. These headphones support LDAC for higher-quality streaming on Android phones and hold Hi-Res audio certification for wired and wireless use.

Soundcore claims these headphones provide their most effective noise cancellation ever, effectively blocking out human voice-centric frequencies. This proves particularly handy for minimizing disruptive sounds like crying babies, chatter, and neighboring phone conversations in open-plan offices. An excellent choice for office environments with little ones!
