DJI Osmo Nano Leak: Specs, Pics & Launch Buzz

Looks like the DJI Osmo Nano popped up in another leak. Yeah, we’ve got some solid specs and pictures of this little camera now. And hey, it might even drop as soon as next Tuesday.

DJI’s been cranking out new stuff non-stop lately – they just dropped the Mini 5 Pro drone, and now it seems like this compact action cam, the Osmo Nano, is up next. I’ve been keeping an eye on these things, and the latest info spilled out from DroneXL. They pulled it from some Aussie online store that jumped the gun and posted details way too early.

So, what’s inside? It boasts a fresh 1/1.3-inch sensor that can shoot 4K video at a smooth 60 frames per second. Pretty impressive for something so small, right? The view angle stretches to 143 degrees, which means you can grab those wide shots without much hassle. Battery-wise, you’re looking at about 200 minutes of runtime, and get this – it’s tough enough to handle water down to 10 meters deep, no extra case needed.

From what DJI’s promo blurb says, you can mount this thing in all sorts of spots to nail those tricky angles and let your ideas run wild. Oh, and the listing mentions at least 128GB built-in storage, so no worries about running out of space mid-adventure.

On the modes side, they’ve got Horizon Balancing to fix any wonky tilts in your horizon – you know, like when you’re hiking and everything’s off-kilter. Then there’s Rock Steady 3.0, which cuts down on shakes but keeps the energy of your moves intact. It’s like having a steady hand even when you’re bouncing around.

Couple that with the pics that came along, and you’ve got a pretty full sneak peek. Makes you wonder how it’ll stack up against other tiny cams out there, like the Insta360 GO 3S. Could be a real contender.

This isn’t the first time it’s surfaced, though. The cam even showed up on DJI’s own social feeds by accident, and we’ve seen a bunch of leaked shots floating around. Word is, it might start at around €369, which shakes out to about $435, £320, or AU$655 depending on where you are.

Anyway, DJI’s got an event lined up for Tuesday, September 23 – fingers crossed we’ll see this and maybe more. I’ll be sure to update you with all the official scoop once it hits.
