In 2023, Hisense launched a 100-inch mini-LED TV, and now in 2024, they’re stepping up their game. The premium ULED X series is expanding with two more options: a 98-inch and a massive 110-inch model.
The trend of larger-than-life TVs is on the rise, evident in Hisense’s CES 2024 announcement. They highlighted an impressive 18 times increase in sales for their 85-inch and above category in 2023. To meet this demand, Hisense is broadening its selection of colossal TVs.
Adding to the lineup are two new ULED X mini-LED models, and a noteworthy 100-inch regular QLED model slated for 2024. History suggests that this 100-inch QLED TV will maintain an enticing affordability, given its expansive screen size.
Performance distinctions exist among Hisense’s TV models, but all boast Google TV for seamless streaming, a 144Hz native refresh rate for gaming, Dolby Vision HDR, IMAX Enhanced certification, and Filmmaker Mode. Notably, they feature a Game Bar onscreen menu, Nvidia G-Sync compatibility, Dolby Gaming, Freesync Premium Pro, and a Game Mode Pro picture mode.
Furthermore, each model supports Wi-Fi 6e for superior streaming and includes a built-in ATSC 3.0 (NextGenTV) digital broadcast tuner, ensuring a comprehensive entertainment experience.
ULED X Series: 110UX and 98UX
Presenting the 110UX at a whopping 110 inches, boasting 40,000 local dimming zones, a blazing 10,000 nits brightness, and an impressive 95% coverage of the BT.2020 color space. The 110UX audio specs are equally remarkable, featuring a built-in 4.2.2-channel speaker system, enhanced by the innovative Dolby Atmos FlexConnect wireless audio technology.
Meanwhile, the 98-inch 98UX is equipped with 10,000 local dimming zones and achieves a peak brightness of 5,000 nits, according to Hisense. Its audio setup includes a built-in 4.2.2-channel speaker system, although it lacks the FlexConnect feature present in the 110UX.
