Looks like we’re in for another round of iPhone excitement! Rumor has it that an iPhone SE 4 might make its debut this year or next, and a recent leak is adding fuel to the fire.
The leak, courtesy of the well-known tipster @MajinBuOfficial (via Notebookcheck), gives us a glimpse of what could be the new iPhone SE case. Say goodbye to the old home button and Touch ID sensor, because this time, there’s a sleek notch at the top of the display. And don’t worry, the single camera on the back is still holding its ground.
If you take a trip down memory lane with our review of the iPhone SE (2022), you’ll notice it’s rocking a design that feels a bit retro in today’s world. You’d have to turn the clock back to 2017 and revisit the iPhone 8 to find a flagship iPhone sporting a home button on the bottom bezel.

Initially, there were whispers that the next iPhone SE might take design cues from the iPhone 15. However, it seems more likely now that it’ll lean towards the look of the iPhone 14, complete with a display notch rather than a Dynamic Island.
The journey to the iPhone SE 4 hasn’t been without its twists and turns. After the launch of the third-gen model in March 2022, doubts were swirling about its success, leading some to speculate it might be the end of the line for the iPhone SE.
But hold on tight, because recent leaks suggest otherwise. A leaked roadmap hints at a potential launch in 2025, and that’s not the only mention of that year in connection with the iPhone SE 4.
It seems the more budget-friendly iPhone is stepping up its game by embracing OLED technology for its display. And say hello to the USB-C port, which is expected to make an appearance in the next iteration, following in the footsteps of the current flagship iPhones.
Just last month, leaked images surfaced, giving us a sneak peek at what the iPhone SE 4 might look like. And lo and behold, they align quite nicely with the cases in this latest leak. All signs point to the resurrection of the iPhone SE series, and we couldn’t be more excited!
