Lenovo appears to be channeling a mad scientist persona with its latest venture. A leaked report hints at the development of the Tab P12 tablet, boasting a fusion of features reminiscent of an e-reader’s matte paper-like screen.

Dubbed the Tab P12 Matte Display, this device is akin to an illusion in tablet form due to its myriad features. As per Windows Report, it flaunts a 12.7-inch LCD screen with a 3K resolution (2,944 x 1,840 pixels). However, initial excitement should be tempered as leaked images suggest subdued colors compared to OLED displays.

Despite this drawback, Lenovo’s innovation doesn’t fall short. The tablet reportedly features an anti-glare coating for optimal clarity in sunlight and a paper-like display for comfortable viewing.

Primarily geared towards content creation, the Tab P12 is showcased alongside compatible accessories such as the P12 Keyboard Pack, Folio Case, and Tab Pen Plus. This combination, coupled with its unique screen, promises a seamless note-taking experience, surpassing traditional tablets.

Unveiling Lenovo’s Tab P12: A Sneak Peek into its Features

The leaked specifications hint at Tab P12’s potential as an entertainment hub, despite subdued colors. Sporting a 16:10 aspect ratio and Quad JBL speakers certified for Dolby Atmos, it promises immersive audio.

Powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage (expandable up to 1TB), it’s a versatile performer. However, a 60Hz refresh rate is not ideal for gaming.

Though not a gaming powerhouse, the tablet excels in productivity and media consumption. Notable features include a 13MP front camera, nine-hour battery life, and Android 13 compatibility.

The release date and pricing remain undisclosed, but speculation pegs it around the current model’s $270 mark. As always, treat leaks with caution.
