The head of Samsung’s AI division, YoungJip Kim, predicts that by 2025, artificial intelligence will have seamlessly integrated into nearly every aspect of our daily lives. As the pace of AI development accelerates, Samsung is already leading the charge by embedding advanced AI features across its product range.

A Changing Perception of AI

Speaking after the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE and the Galaxy Tab S10, Kim shared his insights on the growing enthusiasm surrounding AI. He noted a significant shift in how consumers perceive AI technology compared to just a few months ago. According to him, this increased interest is pushing tech companies, including Samsung, to invest heavily in enhancing AI experiences.

“Expectations for AI have risen drastically, and people will soon encounter more advanced ways to interact with AI assistants. Behind the scenes, these AI-driven user experiences will be vastly different from what we’ve known before,” Kim said.

AI-Powered Devices: Enhancing Daily Life

Samsung has steadily integrated AI features into its devices, particularly in photography. Kim highlighted how AI enhances personal experiences, even joking about how he uses it to refine photos of his wife: “When I take a picture of my wife, I need to use AI to improve its quality. That’s how I stay alive!”

Beyond personal anecdotes, AI is already proving its transformative power. For example, Samsung’s AI-powered translation tools helped bridge a communication gap for an employee whose family spoke different languages. With AI, the language barrier between his and his spouse’s parents was completely removed.

A Future of Personalized AI

Looking ahead, Kim emphasized that AI will soon be tailored to individual needs. “In the coming year, AI adoption will become more widespread. People will integrate AI into all corners of their lives, making tasks easier—whether it’s translation, summarizing, or managing language-based data,” he explained.

By 2025, AI is set to redefine how we interact with technology, enabling a more personalized and seamless user experience. Samsung is at the forefront of this change, ensuring that its AI innovations keep evolving in sync with user needs.
