Lenovo Unveils Cutting-Edge Gaming Laptops at CES 2024 with AI Tech and Legion Coldfront Cooling

Lenovo recently unveiled several new gaming laptops at CES 2024 in Las Vegas. These laptops are equipped with Lenovo’s exclusive Legion Coldfront: Hyper cooling technology, ensuring optimal temperature control without sacrificing quiet fan operation. Additionally, they incorporate AI chips to enhance speed and performance, and they come bundled with a three-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

The flagship model, Lenovo Legion 9i, is a revamped version of the September release. It features a powerful 14th-gen Intel Core i9-14900HX CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. The upgraded LA3-P AI chip dynamically adjusts power allocation to the CPU and GPU based on your usage. This AI chip also introduces Lighting Audio Sync, synchronizing RGB lights with sound for an immersive experience. The laptop boasts a 16-inch Mini-LED display with 3.2K resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a responsive 165Hz refresh rate. Users can opt for up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB of Gen4 PCIe internal storage. The aesthetic appeal is heightened with a distinctive forged carbon top cover. The Lenovo Legion 9i hits the market later this month, starting at $4,400.

The 16-inch IPS display supports refresh rates up to 240Hz and boasts 500 nits of brightness, showcasing a PureSight panel with 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage. Scheduled for release in March, the Legion Pro 7i starts at $2,700. Additionally, the Legion Pro 5i, a lower-powered alternative, is available this month for $1,500.

A smaller, lighter version of the 5i is also set to launch in April, starting at $1,500.

This compact gaming keyboard boasts mechanical key switches and supports 16.8 million colors per key. Anticipated to hit shelves in June, it comes with a price tag of $70.
