Fortnite Death Star Event Ends Galactic Battle Today

Fortnite’s Galactic Battle ends today with a major live event called Death Star Sabotage. Players will jump into X-Wings and TIE Fighters for a final space battle. This event wraps up the Star Wars mini-season and leads into Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3.

The event starts June 7 at 11AM PT / 2PM ET / 7PM BST. It’s already in the Discover queue, so you can join early. While waiting, you can play a mini-game featuring X-Wings vs. TIE Fighters.

Epic Games has teased the next season, but details are limited. Based on past patterns, downtime will follow the event and last 2 to 5 hours. Chapter 6 Season 3 is expected to launch later today.

Rumors suggest a superhero theme for the new season. Leakers like @HYPEX and @Shiina have pointed to Superman skins and other superhero content. These leaks are unconfirmed but come from reliable sources.

The current map includes four major Star Wars-themed POIs. These may change or revert in the new season. Epic will likely reveal the updated map soon.

The cinematic trailer for Death Star Sabotage premiered during The Game Awards on June 6. It shows players piloting ships to stop the Death Star from destroying Battle Royale Island. You can watch it on YouTube.
