As the analysis of the OnePlus 15 shows, this latest model from the brand clearly impressed, to the point of achieving the maximum five-star rating. And according to a new rumor, the next device should further push the boundaries in terms of autonomy.
According to Li Jie Louis, an executive at OnePlus, in Weibo (broadcast by Android Authority), the OnePlus 15R – marketed in China as the OnePlus Ace 6T – is said to have a massive 8,300mAh battery. This capacity promises a very comfortable autonomy.
This value even surpasses the 7,300 mAh that the OnePlus 15 offers, and surpasses the vast majority of other smartphones on the market. In general, only ultra-reinforced models designed for outdoor activities offer such performance.
In addition, according to the brand, the OnePlus 15R would benefit from 100W fast charging. This is certainly lower than the 120W offered by the OnePlus 15, but should still guarantee very fast charging.
Previous variants on OnePlus
OnePlus has not always shown regularity in its variations, but during the last generation the OnePlus 13R and OnePlus 13T models joined the OnePlus 13, as more affordable alternatives.
These R and T versions typically rely on some technical compromises to offer a lower price, with the T version generally being more compact. International availability is often limited, although the OnePlus 13R has launched worldwide.
Everything indicates that the OnePlus 15R will also be offered outside China, although precise details remain pending. What is certain is that the launch will take place on Wednesday, December 17, with a high level of waterproofing and dust protection.
