Actually, everyone wants it. nobody wants that Season 3 and although it’s a bit long, we can reveal that the hit Netflix comedy will return later this year. Already?!
That’s how it is. It’s quickly become one of those programs that gives us an annual release and we’re not really excited about it.
One of the best shows on Netflix on one of the best streaming services, we’ve seen two seasons of Joanne and Noah go through the ups and downs of a relationship, trying to commit to faith, and learning that that’s just how it is. Actually important to talk about it.
So, with the series returning for another season, here’s everything we know so far, from the expected release date to the cast’s return, plot rumors, and more.
Nobody wants a prediction of the release date of this third season
Right out of season two, nobody wants that The third season is already on the way and will be released later this year. Kristen Bell shared news of the renewal with her castmates on November 4 (see above), less than two weeks after the second season premiered on Netflix.
In a statement about it TudumSeries creator Erin Foster said, “I couldn’t be more excited to start the third season of this show. It’s a privilege to be able to write about my favorite couple on such a scale. As long as watching reality TV in the evenings doesn’t take up too much of my time, I’ll do it for as long as you guys want!”
And as for the release date, Tudum has already revealed that season 3 will premiere on the streamer later this year, although there is no specific release date yet.
We got season 1 in September 2024, season 2 in October 2025, so I’m guessing we’ll see season 3 around the same time of year. But be careful with this space!
Nobody wants that trailer for season three.
there is none nobody wants that The trailer for season three is out now, but that’s not really surprising considering we don’t have a release date either.
The trailer for season 2 was released Netflix-style about a month before hitting the streamer. Although we will have season 3 in 2026, we will have a trailer before that. I’ll update it here once it’s available.
Nobody wants the cast of this third season
While the nobody wants that The Season 3 cast has not yet been fully finalized, some actors can be seen in Kristen’s Season 3 renewal video and we expect the rest of the main cast to return as well:

As for the returning stars and guest stars, there is no official news about their return. Take Brody’s real-life wife, Leighton Meester, who played Abby, although given how the second season ended there doesn’t seem to be much reason for her to return, but you never know.
Stars such as D’Arcy Carden as Ryann, Sherry Cola as Ashley, Stephen Tobolowsky as Rabbi Cohen (or Big Noah) and Seth Rogen as Rabbi Neil also return, whom we will also be able to see again. But we keep our eyes and ears open for any confirmation.
Nobody Wants That: Season 3 Story Synopsis
Full spoilers for nobody wants that Seasons 1 and 2 follow. Also, possible spoilers for season 3.
Although we don’t have an official plot synopsis nobody wants that Season 3 allows us to take a look at how Season 2 plays out to get a good idea of what could happen next.
When we started Season 2, Joanne didn’t feel ready to convert to Judaism, and overall it seemed like we were leaving the season in exactly the same situation. But then, after a very brief (and stressful) breakup with Noah, Joanne finally made a decision that revealed to her what she really wanted in life. And luckily it was.
But before we could catch our breath from the titular couple’s turmoil, another important decision was made. This time from Ester. After a possible pregnancy, Esther reconsidered her relationship with Sasha, was somewhat shocked by his friendship with Joanne’s sister Morgan in Season 2, and ultimately decided to break up with him to learn more about herself.
So we will undoubtedly witness the journey that Joanne will take, dedicating herself fully to her relationship with Noah, while Esther finds her way by taking a step back from her relationship with Sasha.
For Adam Brody in conversation paradeHe hopes Joanne and Noah finally take the next step in their relationship in Season 3, whether that’s moving in together or getting engaged, he says “relatively soon.” He added: “I think if I could put my foot on the accelerator and the pedal in a different zone, it would be good.”
And hopefully these grand gestures from Noah will be reciprocated so that Joanne will maybe, hopefully, commit to converting to Judaism. deadline explain.
Season 2 left us wondering what big moments will happen next for these couples and what Morgan’s return to the dating scene will be like following her split from Dr. Andy.
Luckily I’m talking SheShowrunner Jenni Konner revealed that there were plenty of opportunities for that in Season 3: “We have a lot of stories that we still want to tell. We want to continue to explore the characters that we haven’t really explored yet, and I think that’s going to be a lot of fun… and it would answer a lot of questions that you might come away with in Season 2.”
Will there be more seasons of Nobody Wants That?
nobody wants that has received early renewals and strong performance stats on Netflix, but there’s no news yet when it comes to season 4. As before, it will apparently depend on how season 3 performs on the streamer, and until it’s available in 2026, we don’t know what it will look like.
According to Tudum, the second season ranked first on Netflix’s English TV channel chart for two consecutive weeks, with 18 million views in the first 11 days. Since we love the series so much, we’d be surprised if it didn’t continue. But that depends on what happens in season 3, so we’ll stay tuned.
