DJI is expected to replace the DJI Mini 4K and DJI Mini 5 Pro, and the new drones could even hit the market in the US.

Now that DJI gear is officially banned in the US, two new drones appear to have registered early enough to hit retail store shelves, and are set to replace two of the best DJI drones currently available.

How he discovered it the new cameraThe drones are the DJI Lito 1 and the DJI Lito X1, both filed with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of the United States. Before a technical device can be sold in the US, FCC approval is required.

It looks like these two models will replace the DJI Mini 4K and DJI Mini 5 Pro respectively, so we’re more at the basic, entry-level level of the market. Since these drones were approved in November and early December, it appears they arrived just in time to bypass the US ban that went into effect on December 23, 2025.

According to The New Camera, an actual announcement of these drones could happen any time between late February and early April, with the devices going on sale shortly after, likely in the US and all other markets where DJI operates.

Expected specifications and prices.

It’s unclear why we’ll be getting a new product name from DJI at this point, but the DJI Lito 1 appears to be the simpler and more affordable of the two drones, while the DJI Lito X1 is aimed at a higher end of the market.

According to the rumors that have emerged so far, there will be slight design changes compared to the DJI Mini 4K and DJI Mini 5 Pro. This is mainly based on a leaked image of a landing leg of a Lito brand drone; The FCC documents do not contain any images or many specifications.

From what we’ve heard so far, these drones are expected to avoid obstacles in 360 degrees and offer a range of more than 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) on a single battery charge.

Starting prices are expected to be around $330 (around £240 / AU$475) for the Lito 1 and $759 (£555 / AU$1,090) for the Lito X1, roughly in line with current Mini models. As soon as DJI makes this official, we’ll let you know.
