Sources close to 9to5Google suggest that Pixel Watch 3 will introduce a 45mm option alongside the existing 41mm variant. It appears Google’s engineers have heeded the calls from many users.
While similar rumors surfaced last month without specific sizes, this recent leak adds weight to the likelihood of a larger Pixel Watch 3, possibly launching later this year.
This move aligns with market trends. Apple Watch 9 offers 41mm and 45mm sizes, while Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 provides 40mm and 44mm options. Google seems to be catching up in this aspect.
Are new earbuds coming?
According to 9to5Google, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 is in the works, following up on the 2022 Pixel Buds Pro. No word yet on their release date.
There haven’t been many leaks about the Pixel 3 or Pixel Buds 2 Pro, but Google seems committed to expanding its Pixel device range in 2024.
In recent Wear OS news, the OnePlus Watch 2 boasts a 100-hour battery life, thanks to new battery-saving features in Wear OS, which might also feature on the Pixel Watch 3.
Next up from Google could be Pixel 8a, given the release of Pixel 7a in May 2023. Expect more updates at Google IO in May.
