Samsung Galaxy Watch 7: A Potential Game-Changer

Blood Sugar Monitoring: A Long-Awaited Feature

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 series, expected to debut in July, could introduce a key health feature that has been on the wish list for some time: blood sugar (or blood glucose) monitoring. This is a feature that many wearable manufacturers, including Apple, are trying to incorporate into their products.

For individuals with diabetes, this could be a game-changer, potentially replacing or supplementing the disposable monitors currently in use, which need to be replaced every 7-14 days.

The Latest Buzz

Recent reports from South Korean outlet Pulse (via SamMobile) suggest that the Galaxy Watch 7 might include this feature. These reports appear to be based on a new Samsung press release that discusses glucose monitoring and wearables working together to assist those with diabetes and anyone interested in pursuing a healthier lifestyle.

While Samsung is “expected” to add this feature to the Galaxy Watch 7, it’s important to note that this is still a possibility rather than a certainty. The Galaxy Watch 7 isn’t specifically mentioned in Samsung’s press release.

Going Ultra

In other unconfirmed Galaxy Watch 7 rumor news, Android Headlines speculates that one of the models unveiled in July will be called the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra. This model may replace the previously rumored Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Pro.

Last year, we saw two watches – the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. However, this year, there’s talk of three models: the Galaxy Watch 7, the Galaxy Watch 7 Classic, and the premium-level Galaxy Watch Ultra.

Affordable Options and Competition

A more affordable Samsung Galaxy Watch model is also predicted for this year. However, it doesn’t seem to be directly connected to the Watch 7 series and will likely be launched at a different time. There are also rumors that Google might release a mid-range wearable.

The Big Reveal

All should be revealed in the not-too-distant future when Samsung finally unveils what it’s been working on. Inside sources suggest the big day will be July 10, when we’ll also see some new Samsung foldables and a full launch for the Galaxy Ring.
