Samsung Galaxy A06: Design and Key Specifications Leaked

Leaked renders from renowned tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) in collaboration with GizNext give us a clear view of the Samsung Galaxy A06’s design. The phone will feature a flat 6.7-inch LCD with a waterdrop-style cutout for the selfie camera. Large bezels surround the display, and the device will have flat edges, providing a modern look.

The right side of the phone will house the power button, integrated with a fingerprint scanner, and the volume buttons. The design also includes a glossy rear panel with a vertically aligned dual-camera setup and an LED flash. The Samsung logo will be placed near the bottom of the back panel, with no other visible branding.

At the bottom edge, the Galaxy A06 will feature a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, and a speaker grille, catering to users who prefer traditional headphone connectivity.

Key Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy A06 is set to be a successor to the Galaxy A05, with several upgrades. It will reportedly be powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, paired with 6GB of RAM. Although the specific internal storage options haven’t been disclosed, the configuration suggests a focus on providing a smooth performance for everyday tasks.

The camera setup on the Galaxy A06 includes a dual rear camera system. However, the details of the camera sensors are currently under wraps. On the software front, the smartphone will run on Android 14, offering the latest features and improvements from the operating system.

A notable feature of the Galaxy A06 is its 5,000mAh battery, which supports 15W charging. This substantial battery capacity should ensure prolonged usage without frequent recharging.

Imminent Launch

While Samsung has not officially announced the launch date for the Galaxy A06, a support page for the device with the model number SM-A065F has been spotted on Samsung’s Indian website. This suggests that the launch is around the corner, at least for the Indian market.
